Good List

Many will argue that "these are not the same things." Perhaps. Perhaps not. One could also argue that they are.

Today I got some news from the reserves.
UPDATE: I found this out this morning, from another reserve chaplain I met at class this summer. But here's a really nice touch: The Wing Chaplain and, I believe, the director of staff from the 15th Airlift Wing (my organization at Hickam) just came to St. George's to personally congratulate me, and deliver a letter from the Commander, 15th AW. To a reservist. I am very impressed, flattered, and feel valued. Now that's leadership.
Hey, I was in a news story again! Look at the second video listed. And no, you won't be able to do this on a Macintosh. I complained and they said that yes, this is an issue and they hope to have it fixed. But you can still see me in the second photo down on that page, next to the woman in red.
Oh, and Macintosh people can go to http://www.khnl.com and use the flash-based media player on the right. You have to scroll through the videos there to find the right one: "Freedom Walk Honors 9/11 Victims" is the one. You'll get a commercial then the video.
Good luck!
Today I was introduced by a parishioner to the joys of a wheatgrass shot. For those less familiar, this is not something they mix into your jamba order. This is exactly what it sounds like. A little shot glass of liquified grass. Seriously. If you don't believe me, look here.
It was actually good. At first all I tasted was grass. Which was funny 'cause this was in the middle of a work day and we'd been mowing and such, so I probably inhaled some grass. The aftertaste was more like fresh peas, right out of the pod. The gave us a wedge of orange to cleanse the palate afterward, but really it wasn't unpleasant. And apparently good for me.
And heck, who couldn't use more chlorophyll in their diet?
