Please Make an Effort…
I just read the very top of my checklist[1], and had to laugh: "Member Checklist. Here are your required tasks. You should attempt to complete all of these actions, failure to do so will result in an incomplete process. Please make an effort to complete these tasks."
REQUIRED tasks. Please make an EFFORT?!
Erm... Just an effort? For the REQUIRED tasks? I think they need to be more firm:
Here are the required tasks, DO THEM NOW OR YOU LOSE. MUH HA HA HA HA HA.
---- I pretty much went straight for the tasks, go figure. [<--]
The Simple Things
While I was house hunting last week I had a cute little green car/van thing. I referred to it as the hamstermobile, because it's the one with the hamsters groovin' on the commercial.
At any rate, every day I got in, turned on the stereo, and had a good laugh. That's because there was a button on the stereo that made me think, "Awww, poor Zoe! But at least she fits in the glove box now!"
Quick update: There's nothing hanging on any wall in this house, and all the nail/screw holes have been filled. Whee! It is starting to look like I don't live here. Hmmm.
Testing Integration with Facebook (3.5)
Well, I can now post on my blog and have it show up on Facebook. That's a victory. But I'm having trouble with the blog receiving comments from the entry then created on Facebook. Supposedly if, assuming you're reading this on Facebook, you could comment and it would bring that comment over to the blog sometime within 30 minutes. That didn't work.
So I've (again) tweaked some settings and here goes nothing!
Oh, btw, there's also "Share" and "Like" buttons now with each blog entry!
Comment If You Read This
I'm just curious if ANYONE knows this blog exists anymore, much less checks it. So if you're reading this, post a comment please.
Happy Pi Day (UPDATED)
Happy Pi Day everyone! Please be sure to eat lots of delicious round things[1] and take time out today to appreciate the beauty of the circular objects you encounter. And don't forget to dwell on the mystery that is Pi. After all, it is a number whose decimal digits go on, and on, and on... No pattern, no repeating. Amazing and beautiful.
And have some fun, too... Look for a set of digits in Pi that means something to you. Or meditate, perhaps try to find God in the mathematics, by reading through Pi a little. Enjoy!
UPDATE: Even the media gets Pi Day!
